Old Hot News(Time’s nearly up): It’s competition time!
This is on the "House" page (one click from the entry) for your convenience ...
This is where to find some picture galleries, for those who want to see the pictures without reading the news. Principally containing photographs we have taken, the gallery also includes pictures from other sources, such as the great one of the bike leaning against the town board - I’d love to credit the photographer, so if it is you, do tell!

| Some mornings it is really great to get up early and take a look across the valley as the sun comes up over the South Eastern horizon. |

On one of those days when the day is bound to be warm and wonderful, and you just have to get out into the garden and plant a flower like this. |

We went out this morning to (go on have a guess ...) the Abbaye Bon Repos. For the first time we went from Mûr to the Abbey on our bicycles. It took us a leisurely 90 minutes along the old railway line - GR341.
We passed Caurel, where they were playing off the the semi-finals of the "Tournois Benjamin" - the under-13s football competition.
We didn’t get any pictures of the football, but we did take a few along the road.

The "Town Sign" picture is not as good as the "Town Sign" picture we have on our "Getting Here" page.
We have found another copy of that picture. Is that the original? I shall attempt to find out. Watch this space.
We are now taking PayPal payments for deposits, although this news hasn't got as far as our contact or tariffs pages yet.
I hope we get the time to report on this weekend’s first of the Fête de la musique events. We shall be going to Pontivy Saturday night, although it is tempting to stay in Mûr.
Next week, it’s off to the Rockwell in Mûr for another go at the Fête de la musique.
We did go to Pontivy.
We found a Punk band in one square, Breton Dancing in another, 2 bands along the Rue de fil, a DJ doing his stuff at Le Plaza, etc.
We ended up at the BarJo until the early hours of the morning. Sitting in the (blocked off) street at the back of the bar with about a hundred other people. What fun!
It’s a shame we left the camera at home.
Next weekend a local (Caurel) band will be playing at the Rockwell in Mûr, which we will try our best to attend ...
Until I write a special page for special offers, they are all here.
Just 'sign up' on the top of the screen. So here we are again at the Fête de la Musique. I shall let you know after the event where we went to to enjoy the occasion ...
Life is hard! My computer finally gave up the struggle after the two lightning strikes last year, so I am without a PC - I am trying feebly to excuse myself for not having done much on the web site recently.
Hurrah! back on-line; watch out for many changes over the next few weeks. Regular readers will be glad to see the spelling mistake corrected in the last entry ...
Obviously the TDF offer is over. Unfortunately the lucky winner of that night, couldn't get here because his car broke down. Shame!
Because October has already started, the Beat the Rise offer is over. This means that Regular Rate is now 50 €. See our Tariffs page for more information.
The Competition is still running, but not for much longer. I am surprised nobody has even had a go at this one - obviously too hard ...
The Terms of Service page has been edited, and a new page for "Special Offers" has been introduced. Enjoy!
Back soon ...
