In December and January we still had time to go for walks. Here is atmospheric Abbaye Bon Repos as viewed from the bank of the Nantes-Brest Canal on a dark and chilly day in December.
Now that the saga of the floorboards has been resolved, we get less time for walking because there is too much to do. Carol is painting furiously, and Harvey, with new found friends, is getting the structural elements - plumbing, electricity, floorboards etc. - into good condition.
We have some lovely views from the house. This is one from a first floor bedroom window.
